### 1. How present computers are

- Today **almost every aspect of daily life** involves a computer.
- A modern person carries several computers without thinking about it: **smartphone, smartwatch, laptop, smart TV, car infotainment**.
- We use computers from morning (alarm clock app) to night (sleep tracker).

### 2. Types of computers around us

- **Smartphone** – the most-used computer by far.
- **Laptop / desktop / tablet.**
- **Smartwatch, fitness tracker.**
- **Smart TV, streaming box (Apple TV, Chromecast).**
- **Game consoles** (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).
- **Smart-home devices** (Alexa, Google Home, smart bulbs, robot vacuum).
- **In cars** – infotainment, ABS, autopilot, navigation.
- **Embedded systems** – in fridges, washing machines, microwaves, cameras, traffic lights.

- **Cooking** – recipes online, smart kitchen scales, ovens.
- **Cleaning** – robot vacuum, smart washing machine.

- **Dependence** – many services don’t work without a working computer or internet.
